Crufts 2014

There will be 7 Bergamascos showing this year, all of whom have qualified at Championship Shows.  I know we will all have a great day – albeit long – as we are after 197 other dogs, my only wish is that it is a dry day.   You will find us at the NEC Birmingham on Thursday 6^th March, our classes are more likely to be in the afternoon rather than the morning.         Reyna

Reyna and David Knight

Jude (Chique Barolo), Dolce (Dolce Av Villrosebakken of Chique, IMP NOR) and Freddie (Calshair Carradal of Chique) will all be going to Crufts.  Jude and Dolce qualified last year by winning their clases at Crufts, Jude in Open and Dolce in Good Citizen Scheme – he passed his Bronze Certificate.  Freddie has qualified time after time in 2013.

Val and Dieter Rottger

Calshair Cuillin of Spellweaver (aka Tarot) is now almost 18 months old.  He has been doing very well in the show ring, qualifying for Crufts at his very first Championship show, taking Best Puppy at Leeds and Darlington, Reserve Best Dog at Leeds, Best Dog and Best of Breed at Midland Counties.  If there was a class for Naughty Puppy Dog he would win it hands down – he appropriates anything as a toy and to date this includes a pair of wellingtons, Dieter’s reading glasses and a five pound note.  He is the happiest, most loving, and most intelligent dog we have ever had. We love him to bits and whatever happens at Crufts we know we will be taking the best dog in the show home with us.

Helen and Simon Tomkins

Pamina (Ribellepelos Pamina From Burgeon, IMP SWE), aged 4,  is a wonderful part of our family, we couldn’t wish for a more spectacular friend to share our lives with. We will always be grateful to Kennel Ribellepelos for giving us such a fine example of a Bergamasco. She really is a special girl and we are privileged to have her living with us.   We are so proud of her achievements in the show ring this year.

Caroline Featherstone

Burgeon Teodorico Aurelius also known as Rufus, He is 9 months old.

Rufus can be quite playful but generally has a very calm nature, he is extremely loving and likes nothing more than to be snuggled on the sofa with the family.

Chris and Alasdair Walker

Calshair Losgaintir, known as Cicci, is now 17 months old and she is the pup we kept from our litter of 13.  She is aptly named but true to the Bergamasco breed, she is a loving and friendly dog with a huge character and who is never more than a few feet away from us at any time!
